MANAGEMENT STATEMENT
The Management Committee has decided not to appeal against the Football Association of Wales decision to allow Llangynwyd Juniors into the League although they and Llangynwyd Juniors agreed that their administration has been appalling. Although the committee has found the administration of the Club has been appalling and the worst ever experienced by the committee they find that they cannot allow children not to play football.
The South Wales Football Association and the Club agreed there had been a shortfall in administrative matters previously. The South Wales Football Association commission decided that, subject to the Club carrying out its administrative duties correctly, which will be monitored, the appeal be upheld.
The committee has seen that Llangynwyd Juniors are trying to get their house in order by changing the whole Management Committee to sort their administration problems out.
Due to Llangynwyd Juniors being allowed back into the League all Junior Clubs will be contacted by Mr Gary Warner to rearrange the fixtures so that one Club will have a free weekend due to the odd amount of Clubs now in the League.
The Committee has decided that they replace the following Clubs in the Cup draws: Under 16’s Vale Vikings and play Penyfai F.C ‘B’s at home. Under 14’s Brackla Juniors and play Bryntirion Juniors ‘B’s at home. Under 12’s Bettws F.C and will be in group 1 against Aberkenfig & Wyndham B.C’s

The Management Committee has written to the South Wales Football Association requesting sanction for Rule changes because over the hearings by the South Wales Football Association & Football Association of Wales the Bridgend League Rulebook has been criticised. The South Wales Football Association will be recommending these changes to the Rulebook and will be backed by the Management Committee. These new Rules are to be put in place to stop Clubs like Great Western Railway and Llangynwyd Juniors consistently breaking them. The new Rules that will be put in place will not affect the majority of Clubs as the Management Committee find they apply them already.
There will be a meeting called shortly to discuss these Rule changes.
